Can tubal reversal be an alternative to IVF? Cohort study

Introduction: Tubal reversal is the surgery done after tubal sterilization. Mostly, sterilization at a younger age or new partner makes women request reanastomosis. In literature, pregnancy and ectopic rates about 65% 5.6%, respectively.Material Method: our study, data from files of patients who had operations between 2015-2021 years in Sanliurfa Training Research Hospital were collected retrospectively. Demographic features, surgical outcome collected. This study investigated associated factors with reanastomosis operations. Results: 112 recorded. 25 out spontaneous operation. Age was significantly important factor pregnant non-pregnant group. According to age, below 40 seems an ideal for pregnancy. lower than literature.Conclusion: operation can be alternative IVF age.
